The State of Nevada has granted five new marijuana licenses, bringing the total to nine just in North Las Vegas.

Current code would allow all of them to open in one neighborhood or even on just one street.

Will it be yours?

City Council has a plan to keep marijuana dispensaries approximately one mile apart, ensuring storefronts are spread out and not clustered in one neighborhood.

Just as we wouldn’t want nine coffee shops or nine pizza places or nine bookstores all in one neighborhood and even on one street, we don’t need nine marijuana stores in one neighborhood.

We need to look out for our neighborhoods and protect our quality of life.
